Zuppio Guide

Field History tracking is the attribute of managed Custom Fields which can be edited by the Subscriber. When the ISV changes the flag (switch the track field history flag on or off) of the managed custom field, these changes will not be delivered to the subscribers by the package upgrade.

What’s updated by Zuppio:

• The trackHistory flags (true/false) of managed Custom Fields are copied from source to target org.
• The flag enableHistory (true/false) of the managed Custom Objects is updated by true if it was false but not vice versa.

What’s ignored by Zuppio:

• Managed Custom Fields if the enableHistory flag of their custom object is false on the source org.
• Managed Custom Fields which don’t exist in target org.
